For Audio Video Content Creators Fairness

Casterr is a new content platform that gives users the content they want, and rewards content creators fairly for their work.

 A single monthly subscription grants access to all creators on Casterr. Creators are then paid a portion of each their viewers subscription fees (based on the amount of time their content is watched for, not how advertiser friendly it is).

How It Works

Access

Users pay a $15 Subscription for unlimited access to all creators. We take a $1.50 platform fee, with the remaining $13.50 being split between creators.

Enjoy

Users enjoy all media forms from their favourite creators, including podcast, music, video & more.

Calculate

At the end of the month, a users total viewing and listening time per creator is calculated. This will be used to determine where their subscription fees go.

Support

Creators receive a single payout for all funds accumulated during the month. Rewarding creators for their work in the fairest way possible & incentivising user friendly, not ad friendly content.

Mark

Mark subscribes to Casterr. He pays $15 dollars and gets unlimited access to everything on Casterr for a month. $1.50 of his subscription will go to Casterr for site maintenance, hosting & other expenses, with the rest going straight to the creator fund. During the month Mark listens to his favourite podcast, The Lex Fridman Podcast for a total of 25 hours. He also listens to Drake for 15 hours & watches 10 hours of Gary Vee's videos. At the end of the month Lex will receive $6.75, Drake $4.05 & Gary will get $2.70 from Mark's subscription fees. Creators get rewarded fairly for their work while being supported by those they make content for.

All rights to content is retained by the creators who can add & remove content at any time.

Join The Founders Club.

We are looking for creators to join the founders club and to receive a free share in the company.

We will be giving away 15% of its shares to creators who choose to launch on our platform. 

 

Of the 100,000 company shares, we will be giving away 15,000. These will be given to the first 15,000 qualifying creators. These are absolutely free but to qualify you must be a person with a significant following.

 

This doesn’t mean you have to have millions of followers, we will take your content category into consideration as we would like to launch with a range of content.

Podcast, Video & More. In One Place.
Casterr supports multiple media types in one platform. Once you follow a channel you will receive updates when they release new podcasts, videos, images or text posts. Meaning you always keep up-to-date all from one app. Content will be arranged in a newsfeed like manner & users will have the ability to receive upload notifications filtered by media type.
For Users
Ad friendly isn't fan friendly.
Focus on making the content you want to make, and get rewarded for it too. Casterr incentivises fan friendly content, not ad friendly.
For Creators
Multiple Creators, One Subscription.
One big problem with paywall models is that they limit the mount of access one fan has to their favourite creators. For most people having multiple subscriptions each over $10 simply is not feasible. It also forces fans to make an upfront decision on whether they believe the content has value, before even seeing it.
For Users
Don't sacrifice organic growth.
Don't let paywalls slow you down. Growth can be stifled by paywalls, with Casterr it doesn't have to be. Users can access all creators with one subscription they are free to explore new content creators without committing to new monthly subscriptions.
